I'm an 80s kid so of course I love this. :)

I love the tension in the lyrics between preserving things and realizing that none of it can really stop time. The lists, the locked books, the cataloguing, the treasures disappearing — that all speaks to me deeply as someone who spends a lot of emotional energy around physical things, memory, music, and meaning.

The Depeche Mode/Japan atmosphere is clearly there, but it does not feel like imitation. It feels like using that language to say something personal and modern. Iona’s vocal gives it a real human ache, too.

Really strong work. Melancholy, reflective, and quietly uncomfortable in exactly the right way.

Defo in the vibe of Depeche mode or maybe Japan too, for me. Great tune. Lovely voice.

I feel this one deeply. 1995 was yesterday for me, too. There’s so much yet to do, and I feel the breath of time on the back of my neck. Love this as usual. Iona sounds great, and the lyrics are excellent! So happy to follow your work. Oh, and I am digging the Depeche Mode Vibe!!

I think that the passage of time is one of life's great mysteries. This is awesome writing.

All VST, mostly Arturia V Collection items. I don’t currently have the space for hardware but someday hope to have a couple hardware options.

That’s cool! I think every track I’ve released has at least one Arturia VST on it. I do have a KeyLab Essential 88 Mk3 MIDI controller and their MiniFuse 2 audio interface. Love the various Brute synths, have played demo units in stores but haven’t bought one yet. Someday!

Yes, friends don’t let friends pay full price 😁 Not that they’re not worth what they charge normally but let’s be real, every dollar counts.

Let me know what you think if you end up getting the KeyStep!
